Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

TokScript processes individual public TikTok and YouTube video links through specialized third-party media processing and cloud transcription services, then lets you review text and copy or download SRT, VTT or TXT files. It does not currently accept uploaded videos. Editing text does not change existing subtitle timing.

Automatic transcripts and timing can contain errors, omissions or language-recognition mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing the result before publishing or relying on it. Availability depends on source access and the upstream provider; submitting a link does not guarantee a usable transcript. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, with reasonable notice where possible.

Accounts and Content Permission

You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Report unauthorized access through support.

Submit only content that you have permission to access and process. A publicly visible video is not necessarily free of copyright, privacy or platform restrictions. You remain responsible for your submitted content and use of exported transcripts. Using TokScript does not transfer rights in the source content to you.

Acceptable Use

Do not violate applicable laws or others' rights, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, bypass trial or billing limits, or use it for spam, malware or other harmful content.

Trial, Payment and Credits

Trial access allows one attempt per IP/UTC day for videos up to five minutes; a failed attempt still uses the daily allowance. Signed-in users with credits use one credit per started video minute, up to two hours per video.

New monthly plans are Lite ($9 for 150 credits), Pro ($19 for 400) and Plus ($39 for 900). Annual plans are Lite ($90 for 1,800), Pro ($190 for 4,800) and Plus ($390 for 10,800). Annual credits are issued upfront, not monthly. Subscription credits expire at the end of their corresponding billing period. One-time packs cost $9 for 100 credits or $29 for 400 credits, are valid for 365 days from purchase and do not renew automatically. All prices are in USD; the checkout's product, billing period and applicable taxes govern the purchase.

These new products do not automatically change legacy order or subscription terms or previously granted balances. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal; remaining credits retain their existing expiry date. Credit validity does not extend transcript access periods.

Paid features are billed for the selected period. You are responsible for accurate billing information. Definite failed paid transcription tasks receive an application-credit refund under the task settlement rules. Ambiguous submissions are not automatically replayed. Returning credits is not a cash refund or a promise to refund a subscription payment. For cash billing questions, open a support ticket.

Result Availability

Anonymous results are temporarily accessible for 24 hours, signed-in trial results for seven days, and paid results for 30 days. After expiry the transcript body is no longer provided. Download needed files before expiry. These are access periods, not guarantees of immediate physical erasure from databases, backups or provider systems. You can delete your own transcript history; there is currently no self-service account-deletion control.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features and functionality are protected by applicable copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. Source-video rights remain with their respective rights holders.

Suspension and Liability

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.
