How do transcription credits work?
Each started video minute uses one credit: 3 minutes uses 3 credits, and 3 minutes 10 seconds uses 4. Monthly plans provide 150, 400 or 900 credits per billing month. Annual plans provide 1,800, 4,800 or 10,800 credits upfront for the year. Monthly and annual credits expire at the end of their respective billing period; one-time packs are valid for 365 days.
What subtitle formats can I export?
You can download timestamped SRT subtitles for video editing software, VTT files for web captions, or plain text TXT files for notes and scripts. All three formats are included with no additional export fees.
Can I use transcripts for commercial projects?
Yes. TokScript does not claim rights to your exported text or subtitles. As long as you have the right to process the source video, you can freely use transcripts for monetization, client work, and social publishing.
What happens if a video fails to transcribe?
Credits are returned for definite failed paid transcription tasks. An uncertain upstream submission is checked before it is settled; a timeout does not mean an immediate refund. Returned credits are not a cash refund. For billing questions, contact support through your account.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Account Billing to stop future renewals. Unused credits keep their existing expiry date. One-time packs do not renew automatically, and cancellation does not create a cash refund.
How long are my transcripts saved in history?
Paid transcription results are available in your history for 30 days. You can reopen them, correct words and export again within that period. Credit validity is separate: an annual plan or a 365-day pack does not extend transcript access to a year.
