Can I get a YouTube transcript?
Yes. Paste a public YouTube video or Shorts link in the same input. TokScript also accepts TikTok video links. It returns text and timed subtitle segments for review and export. Private, restricted or unavailable videos cannot be processed.
Can I try it free?
The TikTok transcript generator offers one trial attempt daily, for videos up to five minutes. No signup is required. A failed attempt still uses the daily allowance. Paid plans start at $9 per month, and one-time credit packs are also available. Paid transcription uses one credit per started minute, with videos up to two hours.
Which subtitle formats?
SRT includes numbered cues and timestamps for subtitle workflows. VTT is a web-caption format. TXT contains the transcript without timing. All three exports use your current edited words. This tool does not burn captions into a video, add animated karaoke effects or export ASS files.
Where are transcripts kept?
Anonymous transcripts can be reopened in their original browser for 24 hours using the task link. Sign in and explicitly save the current result to keep it in history. Signed-in trial results are available for seven days and paid results for 30 days. Only submit videos you have the right to process.
